I do not write 30 volume histories, but I will always own them but never finish them...yet.

I’m not always an old white dude, with a beard and white hair.

I am not always a hermit, but people scare me.

I am not asthmatic, it’s just the book dust from my book fort in the library.

It’s not just dates for me, because our roots and the world around me matter.

It’s not always about nobles and war, it’s about being good at trivia night and debates.

I am engaged in popular history, but Winston Churchill needs to go.

We are proud nerds, and I am a historian.
